Hotfile-Zone Forum Rules
General Forum Rules
- English is the only language allowed on the board. If you post in a different language, the thread will be deleted without notification.
- Never Post: Negative comments on any country, race, creed, religion or culture as they are strictly forbidden.
- No live links in any part of the forum - all links must be wrapped in [code] tags.
- No external links in signatures are allowed.
- Anyone found using the PM system to advertise their site will be banned immediately.
- Please check that you are posting in the correct sections of the forum, if in doubt then please ask a member of staff before you make the post.
- No flaming of any kind is not accepted here, settle disputes privately.
- No spamming of any kind is accepted, anybody caught spamming will instantly be IP-banned.
- No link protectors/hiders are allowed, anybody caught using them will be IP-banned and their IP address reported.
- No hacking content is allowed, this includes hacking/phishing discussion and downloads of any kind!
- Certain areas will have other rules posted in them, please read them before posting. They are in addition to the General Forum rules.
Uploaders Rules
- Do not post uploads with other forums' URL's in the link, as the password or in the rar file.
- You do not have to use the forum address as the rar password . However passworded files with our URL will have first priority for katz submissions.
- There is no set minimum number of posts which you have to make per day, simply do what you can when you can (within reason)
- If you are busy, please inform us by posting in the 'Absence' thread in the uploaders forum.
- Posts must be made strictly according to katz guidelines and best practices.
Filehost Rules
We accept posts containing links to the following filehosts:
- Hotfile
- Rapidshare
- Megaupload
- Filefactory
- Storage
- Netload
- Mediafire
- Megashares
If your posts contain 90% or more dead links to any of these file hosts, your post will be moved to the recycle bin listed as 'dead links'. You may still post topics containing links to other filehosts, however we do not support them and posts will be moved to the recycle bin if dead links are found to any of the hosts listed above.
VIP Users & Donator Rules
- Be aware that you status makes you role models to the newer members.
- VIP status can be removed at any time is we think you are abusing your privileges.
Requesting Rules
Before a request can be made the following rules must be followed;
- A minimum of 10 posts in other areas of the fourm e.g. Help Desk.
- DO NOT post whore yourself to the 10 Posts to make a request. Staff will check.
- DO NOT send PM's to members to request stuff. Post your request in the relevant forum and wait patiently for someone to address to your request.
- No requesting in the shoutbox.
- Try using the search feature - it will save everyone a lot of time.
Porn XXX Rules
Any form of this kind of posting you will be banned immediately:
- No child porn this includes any picture's or movies up to the age of 18
- No incest porn
- No rape porn
- No animal porn
Banned URL's
- We do not allow any link protectors or hiders. This protects our users from phishing sites.
- To protect all of our users, we will continue to add link-protector url's to the blacklist.
- Throughout the forum you might come across this ****** if you think this should not have been censored pm a moderator to address the issue.
- Our main aim is to rid the forum of phishers and keep Hotfile-Zone clean as we can for all our dedicated users.
